Dual Credit Program Requirements



You are eligible for Dual Credit classes if you:

Are a current sophomore, junior or senior from one of the high school districts or charter schools listed below.  (Some of the districts below have affiliated charter schools.  These schools are not all identified.)  

  • Albuquerque Public Schools
  • Belen Consolidated Schools
  • Bernalillo Public Schools
  • Carrizozo Municipal Schools
  • Cesar Chavez Community School
  • Creative Education Preparatory institute #1
  • Cuba Independent Schools
  • CYFD Juvenile Justice Education
  • Estancia Municipal Schools
  • Gilbert L. Sena Charter High School
  • Grants-Cibola County Schools
  • Jemez Valley Public Schools
  • Los Lunas Public Schools
  • Mora Independent Schools
  • Moriarty-Edgewood Schools
  • Mountainair Public Schools
  • Native American Community Academy
  • Rio Rancho Public Schools
  • Santa Fe Public Schools
  • Socorro Consolidated Schools
  • Southwest Secondary Learning Center Charter School
  • The New America School
  • The New Mexico Media Arts Collaborative Charter School

Talk with your high school counselor for more information.

  • You must be enrolled at your home high school at least half time. 

  • You must also submit ACT or SAT scores to CNM’s Assessment Center or take CNM's Accuplacer assessment to test for college-level course placement.

  • You can only take college-level courses, courses numbered 1000 or higher.

  • If you register for developmental courses, 900 level or below, you will be dropped from the classes.

  • Will receive elective high school credit and CNM college credit when a course is completed.

  • You cannot audit CNM Dual Credit courses.
