Book Pick-up : Our Book Pick-up services is designed to allow CNM students, faculty, and staff members that already have library accounts to request books from one of the campus libraries to be sent to any of the campus locations.
Reserves : Books are placed on reserve by instructors who want to make materials readily available to students in their classes; they are kept behind the circulation desk and can be checked out for use within the library for two hours at a time.
Schedule Media : Media can be reserved by faculty members by filling out the media request form; to limit your search to media, do an advanced search and, as the Material Type, select Visual Media.
Joint Access : The CNM and UNM libraries have an agreement that allows CNM students, faculty, and staff members to obtain community library cards at the UNM libraries. This is a particularly useful service when searching for a book that the CNM Libraries don't own.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) : This service is available to all CNM students, faculty and staff members; if none of the Bernalillo County libraries own a book that you're looking for, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan. It takes a few weeks because we search for items at other libraries across the country and have them mailed to CNM.
Additionally, our print Periodicals collection allows patrons to access over 500 current newspapers, journals, and magazines. We also have electronic access to many of our periodicals, which can be searched on our Electronic Periodicals page.
