All CNM students, faculty, and staff with a current library account with the CNM Libraries can gain access to materials owned by the UNM Libraries by going to Zimmerman library and obtaining a Community Borrower Card. Verify with the CNM Libraries that your library account is current (and without blocks or fines) and then head over to UNM's Zimmerman library with your CNM ID to get a UNM library account.

The UNM Joint Access Agreement cards are good for the current CNM semester. Students wishing to continue their account need to bring their CNM ID and a current class schedule to one of the CNM Libraries to update their account, at which point they can get their UNM libraries account renewed at Zimmerman. Faculty and staff still affiliated with CNM can renew their accounts with UNM by taking their CNM ID to Zimmerman library to verify their status.
Passport (NM Academic Libraries Access)
If you are wanting access to UNM's Health Sciences or Law library, you can obtain a New Mexico Academic Libraries Passport from either CNM library.

The Passports are valid for the current CNM semester and can be renewed each semester by filling out a new Passport form at the Main or Montoya Circulation desks.
