The CNM Libraries have book and media reserve collections that faculty request being held as supplementary materials to their courses. Reserve materials may be checked out by students, faculty, and staff members to use within the libraries for three hours at a time. All reserve items can be searched in the library catalog and can be obtained from the circulation and media desks.

Library Materials
To place library owned books or media on reserve for a course, please fill out the following form.
All materials requesting to be placed on reserve must meet the reserve requirements of the CNM Libraries Copyright Policy (PDF). Any requests that do not comply with this policy will be refused, and the items will be taken off reserve and either placed back in the circulating collection, or returned to the owner of the materials.
Keep in mind that reserves are a temporary collection meant to support a specific course. Books and media can be placed on reserve for up to one year at a time; however, we encourage faculty to reassess their reserves materials every term.
