Faculty Pay
Full-time faculty are assigned an annual salary that is paid over 26 paychecks in the academic year. The academic year for faculty starts the first day of the Fall Term and ends the last day before the start of the next Fall Term.
The academic year from a payroll perspective starts before the actual term begins. That is why full-time faculty effective dates are before the term begins. Full-time faculty pay begins earlier than the start of the term to align with the academic year, which may not be the same day as the term.
Part-time faculty are assigned contracts (courses taught) that are considered contractual agreements between the college and faculty member.
- PT Faculty is calculated and based on a credit hour model.
- The value per credit hour for each category will be documented in Appendix A.
