EMPLOYEE CONTRACT

CENTRAL NEW MEXICO COMMUNITY COLLEGE

(Senior Administrative Staff)

The Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) District of Albuquerque, New Mexico, herein called the College, and ___________________________, herein called the Employee, agree:

1.     The College hereby employs the Employee from  _____________________ to
_____________________.

2.     The College will pay the Employee on a bi-weekly basis, an annual salary of $________________ for services rendered during this contract period.

3.     The Employee shall be entitled to one day of personal leave, 12 holidays, 13 days of sick leave and __________ days of annual leave on an annual basis.  Annual and sick leave may be accrued from one Contract term to the next, according to the maximum accruals established in the Employee Handbook.

4.     The Employee shall be present for duty as assigned at such times and places as designated by the President or appropriate Vice President.

5.     The Employee shall not be discharged during the term of this Contract, except for inefficient performance, insubordination, breach of this Contract or other just cause, as outlined in the College's Employee Handbook.

6.     The Employee shall give the College thirty days written notice of intention to resign. Failure to give such notice shall require the Employee to pay to the College an amount equal to 1/12^th of the salary specified above.

7.     This Employment Contract is for the term specified above.  This Contract does not create any obligation and there is no commitment, express or implied, to renew, extend or offer a new contract at the end of the term.

8.     This Contract is subject to the provision of the College's Employee Handbook, as revised at any time.  To the extent not specifically contrary to any provision hereof, the Employee Handbook is incorporated into this Contract.
