ITS Scheduled Outages

The Information Technology Services Department will provide prior notice when scheduled maintenance affects the availability of CNM’s systems.

Announcements will be posted on this page, via CNM's newsletters The Scratch and News Link, and emailed to AllCNM and Students.

The weekly maintenance window is every Thursday from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. Friday. No changes or maintenance of systems are allowed during the week prior to the academic term, the first week of the term, and the last week of the term. Please contact the ITS Service Desk if you experience technical issues after any outage.

Upcoming Outages

Date/Time: March 2, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Affected Users: CNM faculty and staff

Systems Affected: OnBase will be unavailable during this time. After the upgrade and migration OnBase Unity Client requires a new version be installed. Look for additional details from ITS Notifications and in News Link.


Date/Time: March 6, 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Affected Users: CNM students, staff, and faculty

Systems Affected: All CNM resources including Brightspace, Office 365, myCNM, Banner, VPN, and Virtual Desktops.

Quarterly Outages

Quarterly maintenance is scheduled on Sundays throughout the year to minimize disruption to the CNM community. Banner, Registration, and other systems will be unavailable from approximately 8 a.m. to noon on the following dates in 2025:

  • March 16
  • June 1
  • September 28
  • November 9
