Wireless Connecting to CNM_TLS for macOS

Connecting to CNM_TLS Wireless with SecureW2

For details about SecureW2 and CNM wireless networks, please refer to Using the Wireless Networks. Follow the steps below to connect to CNM_TLS using SecureW2.

  1. If on campus, select CNM_Guest from the Wi-Fi settings on your Mac device. 

OR

If off campus, select any trusted wireless connection.

2. Open a browser (Safari) and go to wireless.cnm.edu

3. Select I have a CNM ID

Note: In the Select your device list, verify your device type is correctly detected. If incorrect, choose the correct device type.

4. Select Sign In.

5. Enter your CNM email address.

6. Select Next.

7. Enter your CNM Password.

8. Select Sign In

  • If prompted, verify your account using multifactor authentication via the app, text, or phone call. Once the account is verified, a dialog box displays showing the progress of the installation.

9. Once the account is verified, a dialog box displays.

10. Select Join Now.

  • If prompted, confirm or change where to save the SecureW2 file, then select Save.

11. In the top-left corner, select the Apple icon to locate the SecureW2 file.

12. Select System settings.

13. Select Privacy and Security

14. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, select Profiles.

15. From the next dialog box, select Install > Install.

16. Enter your device password > OK.

  • A dialog box displays indicating it will be making changes. To use Touch ID or enter your password to allow Profiles/MDM to make changes to your system. 
  • The profile is verified.
Note: If on campus, verify connection to CNM_TLS is successful. You may be prompted to select a network type. If prompted, select Public Network. If off campus, your device will automatically connect to CNM_TLS upon arrival.
