Wireless Connecting to CNM_TLS for Windows
Connecting to CNM_TLS Wireless with SecureW2
For details about SecureW2 and CNM wireless networks, please refer to Using the Wireless Networks. Follow the steps below to connect to CNM_TLS wireless using SecureW2 on your Windows device.
- If on campus, select CNM_Guest from the Wi-Fi settings on your Windows device.
OR
If off campus, select any trusted wireless connection.
2. Open a browser and go to wireless.cnm.edu.
3. Select I have a CNM ID.
Note: In the Select your device list, verify your device type is correctly detected. If incorrect, choose the correct device type from the drop-down menu. |
4. Select Join Now.
- An *.exe file downloads. If prompted, save the file.
5. From your downloads folder, double-click the file to install the SecureW2 app.
6. Select Yes to allow the app to make changes to your device. A message displays notifying you that you are now launching a separate dialog to continue sign- in at your account provider website. When successfully signed in the application continues.
7. Select Next.
8. Enter your CNM email address.
9. Select Next.
10. Enter your CNM Password.
11. Select Sign In.
- If prompted, verify your account using multifactor authentication via the app, text, or phone call. Once the account is verified, a dialog box displays showing the progress of the installation.
12. If off campus, a message displays notifying you that configuration was successful, but the network is not in range.
- Select Continue to continue the installation.
13. When the installation is complete, the dialog box displays Joined and the profile is successfully installed.
14. Select Done to close the dialog box.
- If on campus, verify the device successfully connected to the CNM_TLS wireless network. If prompted to select a network type, select Public Network.
- If off campus, your device automatically connects to CNM_TLS upon arrival.
