Design and Curriculum Development

The Design and Curriculum development team is comprised of Instructional Consultants with vast design experience to support faculty with course design, redesign, and course enhancements.

We provide collaborative design consultations, a variety of a' la carte service options, and customizable support for all faculty at CNM teaching in all modalities and course types.

Collaborative Design Process

The Innovation & Instructional Support Department (IIS) developed the Collaborative Design Process, to partner with Academic Schools and CNM Ingenuity in conjunction with recommendations from the Collegewide Integrated Program Review (CIPR). Collaboration between Instructional Consultants, Learning Experience Designers,  and Faculty on course design and course redesign of Consensus and Template shells to create an enhanced and consistent experience for our online students. 

Course Design Services and Enhancements

Instructional Consultants are available to provide a wide range of services for faculty to improve and enhance their courses. Some of which include Gradebook Services, Consultation on Student Engagement, Instructor Presence, Interactive's and Activities, Accessibility, Video, Navigation, Formatting and Text, Course Tools, Building a Course, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
