3.1
The parties to this Agreement (the Union and the Employer) agree that neither the Union nor the Employer will discriminate against any employee based upon race, age, gender, color, national origin, religion, ancestry, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, or Union or nonUnion membership.
3.2
The use of masculine and feminine gender or titles in this Agreement shall be construed as including both genders and not as sex limitations.
3.3
Any complaint by an employee alleging discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, will be referred to the Human Resources Consultant, located in the Human Resources Department.
3.4
Title IX: Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) does not discriminate based on sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any educational program or activity it operates in compliance with Title IX. This includes admissions and employment. For inquiries regarding the application of Title IX, employees may contact CNM's Title IX Coordinators or the Office of Civil Rights. The college’s Title IX nondiscrimination policy and grievance procedures are available on the CNM Title IX Policy and Procedures webpage at https://www.cnm.edu/about-cnm/title-ix-policy-and-procedures. Individuals may report conduct that may constitute sex discrimination under Title IX to a Title IX Coordinator or CNM Security. To make a complaint of sex discrimination under CNM’s Title IX Policy, employees may contact the appropriate Title IX Coordinator.
3.5
To the extent allowed by law, these issues must be resolved pursuant to this Agreement.
