Article 25: Contracting Out

25.1

In the event CNM contracts out or privatizes instruction that is part of the attached Course Compensation Schedule and is not a function of Ingenuity Inc. or the Work Force Training Center and such contracting out or privatization results in the loss of positions for part-time instructors who have taught three (3) or more terms at CNM, the parties shall discuss the matter in the Faculty Management Committee. CNM shall provide the Union thirty (30) calendar days’ notice of such impending action.

25.2

The College has the right and responsibility to determine what work is to be performed and by whom it shall be performed.
