High school students who have successfully completed or will complete BFIN 1110: Personal Financial Planning for College Students and have at least one more semester left in high school are eligible to apply to the Dual Credit Ambassador program. This is an opportunity for high school students to motivate and support other students while earning a scholarship to a college of their choice.
Dual Credit Ambassador Responsibilities
- Promoting Making Money Work and supporting Dual Credit students
- Participate at student assemblies, parent nights, college fairs and other events to talk about student experience as a Dual credit student
Qualifications
- Be familiar with the CNM enrollment process, myCNM, and Brightspace
- Must have successfully completed Making Money Work: BFIN 1110 (FIN1010) course
- Have a least one semester left in high school
Benefits and Additional Information
- Dual Credit Ambassadors will receive a $300 scholarship upon meeting the program's requirements at the end of the term.
- Dual Credit Ambassadors can serve for the Fall and/or Spring terms.
- Hours are flexible.
