CNM Celebrates Pride 2021
Dozens of volunteers helped decorate our float and march in the annual parade
August 23, 2021
Last week, CNM staff, faculty, and students spent countless hours designing our 2021 Albuquerque Pride Parade float—a 40-passenger school bus dressed up as a unicorn that was by far our largest float entry to date. The float was sponsored by QCNM and QCats, and made possible through funding from the Executive Council of Students (ECOS).
On Saturday, those same volunteers and many others all marched with the bus during the Pride Parade, which made its way East on Central Ave. Our team was joined by thousands of spectators who all came out to support the community and cheer on the many colorful, clever, and fun floats.
