CNM Students Take Home 24 Medals in SkillsUSA New Mexico Competition
CNM is proud to announce that our students took home 24 medals in 15 separate categories during last week’s SkillsUSA New Mexico Competition. Ten students won gold, seven won silver, and three won bronze.
The event, which was hosted by CNM, featured more than 800 career and technical education (CTE) middle school, high school, and collegiate/post-secondary student competitors from around the state and those students competed in 60 different events that ranged from culinary arts to welding.
As a next step, all of CNM’s gold medalists will get the opportunity to represent the college and New Mexico at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference, which takes place June 24-28 in Atlanta, Georgia.
You can view a full list of the CNM winners and a gallery from the event below. Congratulations to all of the competitors and good luck to everyone heading to the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference!
