The Culinary Arts program at CNM is accredited by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACF) and emphasizes innovative trends in the hospitality and food service industry. Our comprehensive curriculum covers essential topics, including baking and pastry, professional cooking, safety and sanitation, nutrition, and culinary business practices.
By earning an Associate of Applied Science or certificate in one of our Culinary Arts concentrations, you’ll be well-prepared for various roles such as Baker, Chef, Food Service Manager, Beverage Manager, and more. Upon completion of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to become a certified culinarian through the ACF or continue your education at a four-year institution for a bachelor’s degree.
With guidance from our dedicated instructors, you’ll experience a supportive learning environment that fosters growth, teamwork, diversity, and lifelong learning. Our students have achieved remarkable success in the culinary field. For example, recent graduate Steph Herrera opened a new bakery in Albuquerque, showcasing the skills she developed at CNM. Similarly, Dennis Escovedo's experience at CNM helped him secure the role of head chef at a fine dining restaurant.
If you’re passionate about culinary arts and eager to turn that passion into a rewarding career, we invite you to join us in the CNM Culinary Arts program.
