Program Information
The Electric Vehicle Technology program prepares you for a career in the automotive industry, with a specific focus on the emerging and rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) sector. You will be prepared to become certified technicians and you'll earn ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) xEV certifications and an ASE A-6 Electrical and Electronics certification.

CNM celebrates its Electric Vehicle Technology program by adding new electric vehicles and charging stations to the campus and plans to add more over the next few years.
Get Credit for Prior Learning
If you have Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications, you can receive credit for courses in the Electric Vehicle Technology program by filling out the ASE Certification form.
If you have a valid OSHA certification, you can receive credit for courses in the Transportation Technology (AAS), Automotive Technology Concentration program by filling out the OSHA 10 and 30 Certificate form.
