About the Program
The Hospitality and Tourism program will provide you with the foundational coursework for hospitality management. Classes in the program will cover the hospitality industry and various employment and educational opportunities. You will also study hospitality operations, marketing, event planning, food safety and production. Organizational behavior, human resources, leadership and management skills will be developed and applied in theory and lab settings.
If you complete your associate of arts degree in Hospitality and Tourism at CNM, you can transfer to the bachelor’s degree program in Hospitality Management at New Mexico State University or transfer to other universities. Meet with an advisor to explore your educational options.
