High School Equivalency (HSE) Program
As an HSE student, you must register for classes based on your current TABE scores.
You are encouraged to take classes in multiple subjects if possible: Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies, depending on your current test scores. If you choose to take just one class, you must register for a class based on your lowest test score. For example, if your Math score is your lowest score, you must register for a Math class. If your Reading score is your lowest score, you must register for a Language Arts class.
Classes are currently being offered online and in-person.
Tutoring
If you need more flexible scheduling options, our program offers tutoring, study groups, and distance-learning classes.
In addition to classes, our program offers tutoring, workshops, and open computer labs if you need extra help with your classwork or if you cannot attend classes regularly.
Individual Tutoring
You must contact the The Learning and Computer Center (TLCc) to make an appointment to meet with a tutor. Please see the contact information listed below.
Workshops and Study Groups
These are scheduled on specific days and times but are less formal than a regular class. Study groups are a great way to work on a specific topic or area that you want to focus on.
